The sun rises late this time of the year which makes morning light stalking much more manageable, especially when sticking around local neighborhoods to find beauty. I set out around 7 am to see if Mascoma Lake in Enfield had frozen over. While passing through Lebanon I caught a glimpse of a sherbet ombré sky behind City Hall.
The birds featured here were spotted at Dewey’s Pond in Quechee, Chaffee Wildlife Sanctuary in Lyme, Richmond Conservation Land in Orford, The Fells in Newbury, and right in my own backyard.
