Santa’s Land in Putney Vermont

Immerse yourself in the spirit at a Christmas-themed amusement park with rides, food, light displays, Santa, gifts and more. Open on weekends from Thanksgiving through Christmas from 10 am–4 pm. Tickets purchased at the door.

Winter Lights at the Shelburne Museum

Enjoy the Shelburne Museum’s second annual light show on select dates in November and December. The grounds and buildings are decked in lights, the Ticonderoga too! Don’t miss the Ice Bar on December 8! Advance purchase of tickets are required.

Christmas Lights at the Joseph Smith Birthplace in South Royalton

Here you can walk through a large display of Christmas lights at the home of Mormon founder, Joseph Smith in South Royalton, Vermont. The display is open November 25 through January 1, with a special dedication on December 23 on the Joseph Smith’s birthday. The display is open from 4–9 pm, visitor’s center closes at 8 pm.

Spruce Peak Lights Festival in Stowe

One December 17, come to Spruce Peak for a lights festival of performances, tree lighting, and fireworks in the heart of one of Vermont’s top magical Christmas towns! Enjoy ice dances with olympic medalist Ashley Wagner, have your photo snapped with Santa, and take in the dazzling lights of the village, evergreens, and ice rink.


Christmas Light Displays in New Hampshire

Festival of Christmas Lights at La Salette Shrine in Enfield

Opening Thanksgiving through December, come see this shining light display and international creche, write brithday cards to Jesus, visit the gift shop, and enjoy refreshments in the cafeteria. The light display is open daily, and the gift shop and cafeteria are open form 5–9 pm on Wednesday through Sunday.

Santa’s Village in Jefferson

Fill up on festive family fun and Christmas thrills at Santa’s Village in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Santa’s Village is open on weekends from November 12–December 18, closing at 7 pm on Saturdays and 6 pm on Sundays. Visit the reindeer, enjoy the rides, and see the park glittering after dark. Tickets are required.

Come see this spectacular drive-through light display of 3.5 million lights from Nov 24-Jan 1, opening at 4:30 each night.

Christmas Events at Strawberry Banke Museum in Portsmouth

Travel back in time for the holidays at Strawberry Banke Museum which brings to life 300 years of New England history. You can tour historic houses, see vintage life reenactments and traditional craft-making, skate on Puddle Dock Pond. On select dates throughout December, come for the Candlelight Stroll. Tickets are required.
