There’s been a lot of hype about the latest lunar eclipse, since we won’t see one again for three years. The beaver blood lunar eclipse was visible from the United States, giving the best window for New Englanders to see totality around 5:15 a.m.
The birds featured here were spotted at Dewey’s Pond in Quechee, Chaffee Wildlife Sanctuary in Lyme, Richmond Conservation Land in Orford, The Fells in Newbury, and right in my own backyard.
The large, elaborate gardens and architectural surprises tucked away in the woods of The Fells present like a hidden gem in New Hampshire. Situated on the grounds is the John Hay Estate, a stunning look at a historical home. I’ve been quite a few times, and each time I go it’s a little bit different.
